The FEP is on the threshold of a very exciting time. We have made major advances within the organisation.
A new standard!
We are about to launch the new EP designation: EP - "European Photographer Award" is a quality system awarded by individual countries under the guidance and ratification of the Federation of European Photographers. This system involves candidates following a stated number of training events and reaching a standard of proficiency in photographic practice, customer service and technical knowledge. A new competition!
With the support of Epson® we are pleased to announce the launch of the ?European Professional Photographer of the Year? photographic competition with the aim of fostering the highest standards in professional photography in Europe.
The competition will take the form of 4 online judging's per year under three headings: Social, Commercia and Pictorial.
For its launch, the "European Professional Photographer of the Year" has drawn entries from the QEP candidates in 2008 and the winning photographer will be announced at the Epson® stand at Photokina on Wednesday September 24th in the late afternoon.
