Welcome to the FEP Awards 2024.

The aim of this competition is to help promote the photographic profession and to raise the level of professional standards. It is intended to give just recognition to those who work in this sector according to the highest levels of quality and professionalism. The competition is a non-profit event and all fees collected will be used to promote the FEP and the FEP member associations.

Attention to some changes to the regulations:

  • 'Photographs’ created entirely (100 %) using AI - Artificial Intelligence should be entered into the Digitally Created Images category and are not eligible for the selection of the ‘Photographer of the Year’.

  • The standard fee per category is now € 40, which will allow the upload of the minimum three images required for that category. Each additional image in that category will cost € 10.

  • EP, QEP, MASTER QEP, EV, QEV and Master QEV holders get a € 40 discount in one category on the upload of the minimum three images required for that category. Each additional image in that category will cost € 10.

  • Members of a FEP member association get a € 20 discount in one category on the standard fee of € 40 for that category. Each additional image in that category will cost € 10.

Please pay attention to the following frequently observed breaches of the rules:

  • Landscape pictures must be submitted in the separate Landscape category and are excluded from the Nature category
  • Photos of animals accompanied by people must be submitted in the Portrait & People category.
  • Photos in the Wedding category must relate to a real wedding
