Biography

Anthony Lau has been a professional trainer and process improvement expert in multi-national corporations for 20+ years. His passion for photography took him to the far corners of the world. From the scorching heat of Africa to the bone-chilling Arctic coastline, he strived to capture the beauty of nature and people.  And in 2016, Anthony became the Grand Award Winner of the prestigious National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year contest (https://nationalgeographicpartners.com/2016/07/travel-photographer-of-the-year-2/). Since then, Anthony has collaborated with National Geographic Hong Kong and Taiwan offices, ASUS Mobile, Wheelock, SmarTone, Genting Group, AIA and Sony.  Indeed, in 2019, he was featured in Sony's flagship G Master lens promotional campaign (https://www.sony-asia.com/alphauniverse/inspire/angkor-wat-anthony-lau), which documented his work while he was travelling in the marvellous UNESCO site - Angkor Wat. With COVID-19 affecting the globe, Anthony joined forces with the Royal Geographical Society Hong Kong (https://rgshk.org.hk/) in its highly successful RGS School Outreach Program, offering his experience in photography and story-telling to the young generations. In the second half of 2020, Anthony produced a video campaign collaborating with 350HK (https://world.350.org/), an environmental activist group in Hong Kong, along with artists in various professions, to raise concerns over Government's decision to proceed with the Lantau East landfill project. In 2021, Anthony moved his base from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom.
