Biography
In this world since 1957. Graduated from Gazi Training Institute Department of Turkish Language. In 1980, he studied Art History for a while at Hacettepe University. He dropped out his graduate study “Fine Arts Study for Children”. His first poems were published in “Dogrultu” magazine in 1976.
In 1981, he became one of the founders and member of the editorial board of “Varlik” magazine. After 1985, he worked as a member of “Varlik”`s editorial board. In 1991, he started publishing “Yazili Gunler” with his friends. He became the editorial director of the same magazine and of Yazili Gunler Editions. He was 'n selection committees of Yarin, Elestiri, Varlik and Yasar Nabi Nayir Short Story prizes. He worked as the editorial consultant for BDS and Golge Editions, he translated for several encyclopedias. His poems, stories, translations, reviews and essays were published in various magazines: Doğrultu, Türk Dili Dergisi, Felsefe Dergisi, Türkiye Yazıları, Yarın, Varlık, Kavram, İnsancıl, İn Vivo, Yazılı Günler, Diyojen…
