Jim is an experienced architectural photographer with a passion for Black & White landscapes, especially dramatic skies, he brings the same creativity to his architectural work, both inside & out. He was also the Leader of the Marine & Natural History Photography, BA course at Falmouth University and is a lecturer for My Online School, based in Oxford. He is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society & British Institute of Professional Photography and a Past President of that Association. He holds a Master's degree in Creative Academic Practice & a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Photographic Imaging & is a Senior Fellow of The Higher Education Academy (UK). He is currently the FEP, QEP/MQEP Qualifications Chairman & also Chairman of their Young Photographer Award competition. His varied career has seen him travel worldwide for a variety of clients from Architects to Engineers. His studio is based in the south west of the UK. His photography has been exhibited in Belgium, Italy, Moscow, and at several galleries within the UK including London and the Royal United Hospital in Bath. He has given seminars in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Moscow, The Netherlands, Sweden and many locations within Britain. His Black & White landscape photographs have been purchased by collectors in India, Japan, South Africa, the USA and the UK, a portfolio of his Fine Art Irish landscapes were acquired by an Irish Hotel chain. As well as writing numerous articles for photography magazines his architectural work was published by The Photographers Institute Press, entitled Architectural Photography Inside & Out.Address
