Biography

I was born in Spišská Nová Ves, which is perceived as the gateway to the Slovak Paradise. I have had a positive relationship with nature since childhood, I wandered through the forest every day. With the advent of the first cell phones with a camera, I began to discover the magic of freezing the moment, the magic of capturing an extraordinary moment that may never be repeated. As time went on, I bought a first compact, then an ultrazoom, until I ended up with a Sony A200 SLR, which I had for several years. Later I switched to the Fujifilm brand, to which I am still loyal today. I went through several genres. I was engaged in photography of the landscape during my walks in the forest, through photography of dogs to portraits of friends. In 2010, I completed a photography course organized by a good friend of mine. After graduating, I just made sure that photography is what I want to do. I became a member of Fotoklub Spiš so that I could meet people with the same hobby and that I could continue to grow photographically.   In 2018, I completed my first photography workshop with Filip Hrebenda and Marián Kuric, whom I still see as masters of landscape photography.   Over time, I discovered that landscape photography was the path I wanted to take. To capture the unique moment I witnessed and share it, show it to the whole world. Through my photos, I try to convey my feelings to the viewer so that when looking at the photo, he experiences what I was experiencing at that given moment. I hold the international photography title AFIAP, which was awarded to me by the international organization of photographic art FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l´Art Photographique). I see it as a huge honor, as well as an appreciation of my effort and creation. I am a lecturer, I give workshops and pass on my knowledge to those who are interested in learning and improving their photography skills. At the same time, I also act as a judge in competitions.
