Biography

Nicolas LANDEMARD is in his own way a resilient person. Born in France, raised in Africa. He studied History and Political Science, and embraced professional photography late in life. He was introduced to this art form at a very early age in a family of image lovers. He went through the school of the assistant, and quickly launched himself as a freelancer and worked as much in institutional as in press. Alternating different projects, he uses all the techniques of photography according to his desires and his research. Far from confining himself to what he knows how to do, hating boxes and labels, he unfolds since the beginning the sometimes troubling ability to not be where you expect him to be; reports, portraits, illustrations, black and white, colour... For him, photographic creation is above all a huge field of possibilities with an infinite number of stories to tell.
