Biography

Disciple of the renown American-Belgian advertising photographer Harry De Zitter, Marco Tortato has been a professional photographer since 2010. He has recently released a book on photography for Emusebooks, entitled “Oltre le Regole” (tr. Beyond the Rules). He has developed his technique and visual taste through the study and sometimes collaboration with some very popular photographers such as Joe McNally, Adam Barker, David duChemin, John Sexton and many others. In 2009 he founded the Manfrotto School of Xcellence, and he now teaches semiotics and creativity for the Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, anche has a active collaboration with the Liceo Artistico Munari in Vittorio Veneto. He has taught photography all around Italy for 10 years.   He specialized in Food and Beverage Photography, Portrait and Interiors for both Commercial and Editorial purposes. He is part of Portfolio Mondadori since 2013. He works for many wineries and food producers, and he has been photographer of the famous Caffè Florian in Venice for almost 10 years. He is also Ambassador for Fujifilm and Elinchrom.
